Nelson Poirier visited Churchill
The Polar Bear may be one of Canada’s most admired native mammals however many of us may not have the opportunity to experience the live presence of this amazing Canadian icon on its turf and realize the life and times of this animal at the moment and how it is doing with climate change in its environment.

Nelson
Poirier visited Churchill, Manitoba, the polar bear capital of the world, in
early November to experience three days among these amazing animals as they
gathered at the mouth of the Churchill River waiting for it and Hudson Bay to
freeze so they can head out for their winter feast.
Nelson will share the experience of getting to this mecca on a budget and seeing an amazing other part of Canada en route there.
