Field Trip # 1
Sussex Balloon Festival - Sat, Sept 8
We will meet at Magnetic Hill McDonalds at 1:00. Leave for the festival in Sussex at 1:30. We recommend you bring a tripod for the Moon Balloon shots.
Cancelled if raining. We will post here and on the FCC Facebook page if cancelled.
Field Trip # 2
Prince Edward Island - Sun, Sept 16
We will be meeting up with the members of Red Sands Photography Club of Summerside, who will be our hosts. This is the first half of a "field trip exchange" - we will be their hosts soon after.
A full day of photography fun is planned, starting at 7:00 am. We will meet at Tim Hortons at Champlain Place. Once we are "fueled by coffee", we will leave at 7:30 am (sharp).
Once on PEI, we will meet with the members of the Red Sands club at the Kensington Train Station. Planned shooting spots (time permitting) include:
~ Malpeque Harbour for wharf, lighthouse and dunes
~ French River for the wharf lookout and osprey nest
~ New London lighthouse and beach
~ Cape Tryon
~ Cavendish National Park
~ Rustico (for lunch) for wharf boardwalk and lighthouse
~ South Rustico area
~ Hunter River
We look forward to meeting new friends, getting reacquainted with old ones, and filling up our cards!
