First Meeting of 2006

To all FCC Members:

I hope that your holidays were safe and festive and that you all were treated with new photography equipment (or some new gadgets at the very least)!

I would like to remind everyone that our next regularly scheduled meeting is January 12th, 2006 in room D-102 of the Remi Rossignol Building on the U de M Campus. Our first presenter for the 2006 season will be none other than our own award-winning photographer Dr.Stephan Reebs! Stephan will be presenting a slide show of the Magdalene Islands (Iles de la Madeleine). If you have never seen the Magdalene Islands before you don’t want to miss this presentation. If you have been to the Magdalene Islands come see them from a whole new perspective!

We are still working on the Programme for the Winter & Spring of 2006 but hope to have a printed copy for everyone on the night of the 12th. If you know of someone who would be interested in making a presentation of their work please feel free to drop me an email!

The assignment for this meeting is "Old Buildings and Barns" so if you have any interesting shots of old buildings or old barns please bring them along to the meeting for presentation! Keep in mind our first Club Contest for 2006 is January 26th and the theme is "INNOCENCE". As always feel free to bring along slides for view to share with everyone and the end of the meeting!

See you all next week!

Best regards,

Robert S.
