Frenchies car pool lot in Shediac at 9AM
Tim Hortons at Champlain Mall across from Canadian Tire at 8:45AM

  • Remote trigger or wireless trigger ( or place your camera on time delay )
  • Bug spray
  • Macro Lens if you have one
  • A big smile
  • Something to kneel on if doing ground level shots Macro shots
  • Polarizing and/or Neutral Density filter may be useful

Irishtown Park Nature Walk”
Date: Sunday July 16th, 2017
Location : Irishtown Nature Park, Moncton


Time : 9:30 AM to 11:45 AM – Parking Lot #1.

Jacinthe will be making a reservation at the Igloo Beverage Room for anyone who wants to have lunch together afterwards. Let Jacinthe know when we meet at the park if you will staying for lunch.

FCC  “Beyond the Basic Series”
Hands on training
“Fireworks”
Date: July 1st, 2017
Location : Behind Mary Brown’s at 18 Champlain St, Dieppe
 Across from Champlain Mall Dieppe          
 (follow path between Shoppers building and Mary Brown building) 
Time : 9:00 PM - Fireworks are at 10:00 PM
Cost : Free to Focus Camera Club Members
** Experience photographers will be there to help you with your settings and to guide you along the way 
Prizes: A matted 8x10 print
  • Drawn out of hat from everyone who attends the Fireworks Event.   
Camera Settings:
  • Camera Mode : Manual
  • F Stop : 16
  • ISO : 100 or the lowest you can go
  • Shutter Speed : Bulb Mode
  • Focus Mode : Manual
  • Focal Length : Infinity
Things to bring:
  • Tripod is a must
  • Remote trigger or wireless trigger ( or place your camera on 5 sec delay )
  • Bug spray
  • A chair
  • Extra Batteries
  • Small Flashlight
  • Black cardboard or foam board 5inx5in approx.
  • Umbrella and/or Rain Jacket in case of light rain

Participants will also be able to enter one photo of fireworks taken on July 1st, 2017 into the FCC Photo challenge and be eligible to win 1 of 2 more matted 8x10 prints that will be given out.

Beyond the Basic Series will be outings and hands on training that will be offered to Focus Camera Club Members during the 2017-2018 year.  It will cover subjects such as: Long Exposure, Light Painting, Multiple Exposures, Panning, etc.
