March 9th Meeting Summary

Clarence Nowlan gave his stunning slide presentation "Journey to the Ocean" - 4 trays of wildlife and landscape slides set to music. Clarence said that the inspiration or theme of the presentation came from seeing a droplet fall off a tree and wondering what that drop would see, if it had eyes, as it rolled towards the ocean...A DVD presentation was given of the KV and Fundy Camera Club's second annual scavenger hunt contest. Very inspirational. The clubs have challenged the Focus Camera Club to join the next scavenger hunt contest in July, which we intend to do...a commitee was formed (headed by John Nason) to investigate the aquisition of laptop/digital projector in order to allow greater participation of digital photographers.

Next Meeting - March. 9th

Just a quicker reminder of our meeting this evening. One quick change is the room we are meeting in, it will be room A102 of the Remi Rossignol Building. We of course will be meeting at 7:00pm as always with the meeting running until 9:00pm.

Our guest presenter is Mr. Cliff Sandeson of the Truro Camera Club and he will be presenting a slide show of Alaska. The assignment for this evening is "Show us Your Pets". I will also be sharing some exciting information from our meeting/field trip to Saint John at the Saint John Arts Council from last Saturday.
